How often does my freezer defrost?

		The freezer defrosts after the compressor runs 8 to 12 hours. The defrost cycle lasts approximately 28 minutes and may raise the freezer air temperature 10° to 15°. This temperature change is actually the temperature of circulating air, not the food temperature, provided the unit is well stocked. Although the frozen food may begin to defrost, it does not thaw out.
