Use the following
suggestions to remove ballpoint ink stains from the dryer cylinder.
- Place dry rags in the dryer. Using the hottest heat setting, run the
dryer for one hour to absorb the ink.
- Apply one of the following cleaners to a soft cloth, and rub the
stain.
- Tech Stain Remover (manufactured by Tech Stain Enterprises, 901
Stewart St., Madison, WI 53713, 608/274-3838.) This is found at
grocery, hardware, carpet and furniture stores.
- Mild nonabrasive cleanser without bleach.
- Detergent paste (powder detergent mixed with
water).
- Place wet rags in the dryer. Using the hottest heat setting, run the
dryer for one hour to remove any cleaner
residue.
