| My dishwasher produces excessive suds. | ||
| Do not attempt service or replace parts of the appliance unless referred to in the owner's manual. Follow all safety precautions provided in the owner's manual. | ||
| Be sure you are using
dishwasher detergent made for automatic dishwashers. Dishwasher
detergent has no sudsing agent to cause bubbles, but proteins in foods can
cause sudsing. Although we do not suggest rinsing dishes completely free
of soil before washing, we recommend removing proteins, such as dairy
products and eggs. Rinse aid spilled in the tub and and on the door can cause excessive bubbles during the wash cyce. Rinse aid should be put in the rinse aid dispenser only for use during the rise cycle. Excess spillage when filling the dispenser should be wiped up before starting the wash cycle. |
