How do I remove stains from the inside of my dishwasher?
Do not attempt service or replace parts of the appliance unless referred to in the owner's manual. Follow all safety precautions provided in the owner's manual.
Interior discoloration is most often caused by water content. Stains can be removed from the dishwasher’s inner door and tub by running an empty dishwasher through a full cycle using ¼ cup citric acid crystals in place of detergent. Place the crystals in the detergent dispenser and run the dishwasher through a normal cycle without dishes.

Citric acid crystals can also be used to remove hard water deposits/film from the dishwasher and/or dishware. Do not include metal utensils or silverware when cleaning the dishwasher/dishware with citric acid.
