My dishwasher is not cleaning properly.
Do not attempt service or replace parts of the appliance unless referred to in the owner's manual. Follow all safety precautions provided in the owner's manual.

Optimal results are obtained using the heated dry option (some models). If heated dry is not used, better drying results may be obtained if the dishwasher door is opened shortly after the end of the last cycle to allow any steam to escape.

Rinse agents lower the surface tension of water and allow it to “sheet off” dishes. The moisture evaporates by use of the heating element and condenses on the walls.

Condensation may reoccur if dishes are left in the dishwasher over a period of time, such as overnight. The condensation will redevelop on the dishes. Unload the dishwasher promptly after the cycle has completed.

Plastic items do not dry as well as other materials.

Sufficient amounts of water may collect on items with “wells”, such as stemware. The heated dry option will not dry these larger amounts of water. Try to position these items so that water will not collect in the “well” area.

Make sure the incoming water temperature is at least 120°F.
