My oven burns my food.
Do not attempt service or replace parts of the appliance unless referred to in the owner's manual. Follow all safety precautions provided in the owner's manual.
Several factors can cause the bottoms to darken on baked items:  
  1. Black bottom pans
  2. Tin-plated steel pans
  3. Warped pans
  4. Pans not greased sufficiently
  5. Oven temperature too high
  6. Improper pan positioning
    • Pans on different shelves must be staggered
    • Allow at least 2 inches between the pans and 2 inches from the pans to the side walls of the oven
 
 
You may need to preheat your oven for 15 to 20 minutes to be sure the oven cavity is at the temperature you selected.
