How do I clean my continuous clean oven?
Do not attempt service or replace parts of the appliance unless referred to in the owner's manual. Follow all safety precautions provided in the owner's manual.
The continuous clean oven is designed to use heat in conjunction with the special coating on the oven interior to clean itself while you bake or roast. Most spills and spatters gradually disappear while you cook at regular oven temperatures. However, some cooking may leave light spots and stains on the oven surface. Don't be alarmed, since these spots and stains gradually fade away with additional oven use.

Heavy spillovers or excessive spattering are difficult to clean. Remove excess spills, soils and solid substances with a damp cloth immediately after each incident and the oven has cooled. Some spots may require treatment with a damp sponge or synthetic mesh pad plus a mild solution of liquid dish soap, which should be washed immediately with clean water. Avoid harsh abrasive powders, liquid aerosol cleaners, scouring pads, oven cleaning compounds and scraping tools. Operating the oven empty at higher temperatures (400oF maximum) for one or two hours aids cleaning and will further assist the removal of spots and stains.
