Can I line the bottom of my oven with aluminum foil?

		Aluminum foil should not be used on the oven bottom or to cover an oven rack. Aluminum foil disrupts airflow within the oven. Heat is reflected off the aluminum foil and alters the oven temperature.     To help avoid massive spillovers, a single piece of aluminum foil just slightly larger than the size of the cooking container can be used directly on the next rack under casseroles, pies and other dishes that might boil over. Aluminum foil should not be used to completely cover an oven rack.
