How do I adjust my oven temperature?
Do not attempt service or replace parts of the appliance unless referred to in the owner's manual. Follow all safety precautions provided in the owner's manual.

Amana offers a wide variety of gas and electric ranges and wall ovens. The features and benefits are specific to individual models. Listed below are some general instructions for adjusting oven temperatures. Instructions may differ depending on the model. Please refer to your Owner’s Manual for specific information for your particular model.  
 
KRC (Knob Range Control)  
  1. Turn knob to OFF.  
  2. Press and hold HRS + and HRS - pads for 5 seconds. Display will show current offset. Factory offsett = 00.  
  3. Immediately press either HRS+ or HRS - pad to raise or lower temperature in 5 degree increments from +35 to –35 degrees.
  4. Control automatically saves new setting and returns to time of day.
ERC (Electronic Range Control)  
  1. Select bake temperature between 500oF and 550oF.  
  2. Immediately press and hold “BAKE” function. Display will show current offset. Factory offset = 00.  
  3. Select desired offset between +35oF and -35oF.  
  4. Press “Cancel” to enter offset temperature.
The calibration adjustment will remain programmed in the ERC or KRC control even if power is removed. Self-clean temperatures are not affected by changing the calibration.
