Algae builds up in the base pan of my room air conditioner.
		Do not attempt service or replace parts of the appliance unless referred to in the owner's manual. Follow all safety precautions provided in the owner's manual.
		You may want to use an algaecide tablet in the base pan to help reduce algae growth. If algae begins to form in the base pan, it emits an odor. These tablets can be purchased at a swimming pool supply company or local parts supplier.
